Partial list of skills and strategies you will learn:
• Physically control your body
• Use your power and strength with new fighting skills
• Learn strong body language
• Stop being a target for predators, bullies, and overbearing adults
• Learn to keep yourself safe and protected from threatening people
• Power yourself with skills and strategies that work
The 2-hour workshop, and the 8-modules training are not designed to make you an expert. That would require much more time in hours of training. You will be able to make better choices, and learn how you can avoid confrontational situations in the first place. You will learn some basic physical fighting skills.
• Self-Defense will power your life
• You to feel safe and secure at home and on the streets
• Training that is short & condensed for your busy lifestyle
Isn’t it time for you to get this easy and simple training and begin to feel safe when you are alone?
If feeling confident and safe from potential “bad guys,” and bullies is important to you, then read on.
This information could possibly save your life by giving you confidence in your abilities and available choices to staying safe when confronted with threatening situations.
Your level of fitness is not a qualifier for learning to defend/protect yourself. The goal of self-defense training is to teach you effective concepts and movements in order to understand choices for staying safe
We can work around any previous injuries you might have. Options will be given to make movements work for your particular situation
Previous experience is not necessary. Most people come to this training with no prior experience. Many women have never taken any form of self-protection before this course. We help individuals sharpen their skills and learn new ones to add to their knowledge and skills
Nobody will be forced to do anything s/he feels she is not ready to do. We encourage and support all women to work through challenges, but nothing is mandatory. If you are currently working with a therapist, we recommend that you consult with her/him before registering
Yes, however, only if you take the class with her/him, and s/he is at least 14 years old
All we ask is that you notify us at least two days before the class starts. If the class is full, we want to be able to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list
Any comfortable workout wear, or loose clothing. All we ask is that you not wear shorts, unless they are board shorts. Short shorts are not allowed. Many people wear fitness clothing. You will need a good pair of athletic shoes
Yes, there will be one break half-way through. You may bring your own snacks. We have free filtered water
No, you do not need to bring anything besides your snacks/drink
The workshop is progressive. If you cannot make the two-hour timeframe, we suggest you wait until you can take an entire workshop before registering
If you have any other questions, feel free to Contact Us.
"I loved the MINORSAN self-defense class. It was so helpful I gave all of my friends tips from what I learned in my self-defense class from Clara and MINORSAN. She rocks!"
