Classes at Minorsan

All our classes are focused on all levels of fitness

Beginners are welcome! 

No matter what your current level of fitness is, everyone is welcome. Our Instructors give everyone options to all movement. No one is forced to do what doesn’t feel safe, or even doable, as this could set people up for possible injury.

Your safety is our top priority. Here are short explanations of our current classes.

KickAeroBix:

This is our Fitness Kickboxing on Heavy Bags class (the OG fitness kickboxing class in Santa Cruz County since 1996). All movement has several levels. Beginners thru advanced can all feel comfortable, as our Instructors focus on all participants.

After a brief warmup, you’ll get your gear on (we provide gloves for your first class).

We then continue with rhythmical movement on the heavy bags, possibly segue into a bit of conditioning, before ending in a cooldown.

BodyPump:

This is weightlifting to the beat of the music, which allows for consistent movement. You start with very light weights. Weeks pass before you think of adding on more weight, as your body has to adapt to the currennt weight configuration. Your instructor guides you on weight choices, keeping safety in mind. All major muscles are used in this workout, giving a full body experience.

HIIT-Kick

HIIT represents High Intensity Interval Training, and proof it’s one of the best methods to use when people want to be fit, and feel those impressive results.

In this class, you experience a segment of HIIT movement (not to the beat of the music), and a segment of rhythmical movement on the heavy bags. This class incudes a warmup and a cooldown, which are two critical components of safety for your body.

FighterFit Fempowerment

This is the heart of all our workouts for learning self-defense. Various methods of movement are utilized, as self-defense is multi-faceted. For anyone looking remarkably usable self-defense training, this is your workout.
